How it works
-
The first step is to set-up an initial meeting. This is a chance for you to ask us questions, and for us to get a better understanding of your project. If we both decide that it’s a good fit, we will take on the project management of your entire build.
-
Based on your project needs, we will start assembling a team to get the ball rolling. We can connect you with designers and/or architects (if needed) to help design your dream home. Once we have a set of plans we will start preparing a budget for your project.
-
We will work closely with the designer/architect to coordinate all necessary approvals and permits on your behalf.
-
We pride ourselves on providing a turn-key experience. Once permits are approved we will oversee the entire build of your project. We will keep you up to date with the progress of your build through regular site-meetings and budget updates. We don’t believe in hiding anything from our clients, if there is a set-back, you will know right away, but rest assured we will always have a solution. We will also help guide you through the process of material and finishes selection based on your desired look and budget.
-
We back all of our projects with a comprehensive warranty and all new builds are registered with Tarion. We continue to have strong relationships with our clients years after the project and warranty period is complete.
We pride ourselves on quality, integrity, communication, and trust.
Questions to ask when choosing a builder:
Do I trust this person?
Make sure that you meet the person who will be in charge of your project. This person (or company) is essentially the “team leader” of your build. They will be your main point of contact throughout the entire process. It helps if you also like this person because you will be seeing them quite a bit over the course of your build.
Does this person communicate well?
This can be different for everyone. If you prefer to make decisions by email, text, or in-person meetings, make sure that the communication style of your builder matches that of your own. There are a lot of decisions to be made and you want to make sure that these can be discussed in the best/easiest way for you.
Are you able to see some of their work?
Can they give you a list of local homes that they have built? Or take you to an existing job site to show you around? Are you able to talk to one of their previous clients? It is important to do your research to know what you are getting.
